Cactus Valley is one of the favorite tourist attractions in Cameron Highlands. Situated at Brinchang, this valley has a vast collection of varieties of cactus and a host of other plants. Its collection includes tomatoes, apples, peach, strawberries, cucumbers, cherries, orchids, roses, camellia, hibiscus, rhododendron, fuchsia, coleus and gerbera. If you are passionate about gardening and want to buy some exotic plants from here, you may do as there are shops selling potted plants, souvenirs and dried flowers. Besides roses, the Rose Center also displays a spectrum of other flowers including fuchsia, lily, honeysuckle, gerbera, lady shoe--and the list goes on. Aside from the flowers, the Rose Center also offers an enchanting view of the surrounding landscape. There are murals, fountains, and statues at every corner, multiplying the beauty of the landscape further.
Sam Poh Buddhist Temple
Situated at the south of Brinchang, Sam Poh Buddhist Temple is the fourth largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia. Built in 1972, the temple is well-maintained and decorated with beautiful flower plants like rhododendron and orchids. There are many statues of lord Buddha and other Chinese deities inside the temple. The ambiance within the shrine is so peaceful that you might want to spend few moments there meditating.
