Roti Prata in Brinchang

Edit This
Have a roti prata in Brinchang!

It's a sort of crispy pancake made by flipping and whipping it on the hotplate. It's usually made by traditional sarong-wearing indian men. It's quite a show to watch too. And very delicious though not very healthy since they traditionally use lard and flour to make them.

There were 2 prata restuarants at Brinchang the last time I went. I can't remember their names. One of them serves a western version of the prata in banana, strawberries etc flavours, sort of like western pancakes. It's a nice idea, but personally I still prefer the traditional prata at the other restuarant.

This is good for tea break or brunch on a lazy afternoon, and goes well with the traditional milk tea (Teh Tarik).
