There's some stiff competition for 'best beach on Kei' - Wap and Ohoidertutu have got to be near the top of any list and even the eery white mudflats of Ohoidertahun have their fans, but it really is difficult to beat Pasir Panjang - 3km of snowy sand, azure sea and waving palms.
Attractive little villages at either end - Ngurbloat/Ngilgnof in the south and the less accesible Ohoililir in the north. But its Coaster Cottages just outside Ohoililir which is worth the detour, a little haven tucked away off the tourist trail, and the only place which is actually on the beach. Clean, airy, affordable rooms and quite exceptional food.
