Boldly placed in the heart of Jalan Malioboro this 4* hotel reeks of a more opulent colonial time but in truth is in need of a bit of a renovation.

Having said that the rooms are reasonable and our stay there was made more pleasant by the very cheap spa facilities. Just don't book your tours in the hotel as they are twice the price!

However if you are looking for an ok hotel in the heart of Yogya you can't go too wrong with this option.  Although more modern but blander options exist nearby...
