Sunda Kelapa
Edit ThisTraditional ships that bring and take loads of cargo. It may be the world's largest commercial sailing port now, though most of the sailing boats (phinisi) have diesel engines too. Incoming cargo is mostly timber from Kalimantan (Borneo), Sulawesi and other islands. They sail back with building materials, cooking oils, household goods and even the odd car. You may be invited on board a ship. Check out the nearby Pasar Ikan, the local fish market and see the old days come alive again.
