Although Jakarta is not packed with discos and clubs, you can find a good and interesting lively dancing places to spend the late hours of the evening. In many hotels, you will find some sort of small disco spot. Lots of tourists will be found with a beer Bintang in one of the cafes at the Jalan Jaksa and its vicinity. Some restaurants offer live music with the food.

BuGils Cafe

BuGils cafe is located centrally in the Taman Ria Senayan Complex, close to TJI Friday's and Bebek Bali. This Dutch style "brown cafe" mostly caters for expatriates.
