Getting There in Jakarta
Edit This
When planning a trip to Jakarta, getting there can be done by air, bus, train or even by bus.
Flying to or from Jakarta
Jakarta’s airport is named Soekarno Hatta International Airport, and is located about 25 kilometers from the city center. It is served by a wide array of international airlines as well as domestic ones.
Terminal 1 serves mostly domestic airlines, while Terminal 2 serves international ones. A new terminal has been recently completed, Terminal 3, which is used by low-cost airlines such as Air Asia.
The easiest way to reach the city center from the city airport is to use one of the privately-owned airport shuttles. They are usually fast and run between 5 AM and 10 PM.
Reaching Jakarta by Bus
There is no central bus terminal in Jakarta. Instead, there is a series of small terminals scattered throughout the city. Traveling by bus in Indonesia can sometimes be hazardous due to reckless drivers or roads in poor condition.
Reaching Jakarta by Train
The largest train station in Jakarta is Gambir Station, which is located near the city center. Another major station is Jakarta Kota, close to the historic part of the city. Trains connect Jakarta to many cities on the island of Java.

Edit ThisI have the following questions:
1. Is it easy to find a safe transfer (bus, train) from the Airport Halim to a private address in Menteng, and how much does ist cost (in general).
2. Can you give me the address of a tourist office for one day sight-seeing tour in Jakarta
3. Is it possible (for a tourist) to go to the railwaystation in order to buy a ticket (for instance) to Bandung on the same day of departure
Thanks in advance
