Bintan Island

It is the largest island in the Riau Archipelago and is also the part of Riau Islands in Indonesia. Although it is larger than Batam in area yet the population is very less. It is well connected from Batam by ferry and you can get a speed boat every fifteen minutes with a fare of Rp.30.00 and port taxes. It takes barely twenty to thirty minutes to reach Bintan.

Bintan Island is famous for its beaches and water sports. You can enjoy jet skiing, snorkeling, windsurfing, scuba diving here. Trikora Beach, the collective name for the northeastern beaches in Bintan, is famous here for water activities though you can enjoy them in all the beaches.
