Murni's Warung

We got married in Murni's Villas which is just outside Ubud - having seen Murni's wonderful web site, www.murnis.com .

Everything was divine. We got married by the infinity pool surrounded by our guests who had flown in from many different countries. Murni was fantastic.

After photographs we went down to Murni's Warung and had the best meal of our lives. The place was decorated specially for us and the staff were all in traditional costumes. There were a couple of men playing bamboo instruments. The setting is indescribably beautiful, romantic and dramatic.

The food went on and on. Each dish was better than the one before - a mix of Balinese, Indonesian and Western foods. Then we had wedding cake - not the traditional type but a poppy-seed cake - beautifully moist and decorated with Balinese flowers.

After that we ate there every day and really loved it. So relaxed and friendly. We can't recommend it enough - and the prices are very reasonable indeed.
