Balcony Guesthouse & Restaurant, opened in April in 2009, is located on the scenic Mekong riverfront, only 350m from the bus stop area. A variety of double rooms are available from $4. The outdoor restaurant overlloking the river has a full bar and an offers both Asian and Western food. Other tourist facilities offered include bus bookings, motorbike and bicycle rental, tuktuk tours, laundry and WiFi-enabled Internet.

The food is really delicious and good value - try the pasta! I also liked the beds which were extra-firm, very clean and confortable - I had the best sleep for ages. Great value.
