Edit ThisNew in May 05 Heng Heng II hotel is on the riverfront. It is a lovely, clean hotel with large rooms, beautiful wooden furniture and only US$5 for a double room with private bathroom (hot water), satellite TV, dimmer switch on the ornate reading lights, spotless tiles, wooden inlay ceiling and a more than effective fan. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It is often booked out by government officials and NGO's so it may be worth booking ahead. They have airconditioned rooms as well.

Edit ThisBalcony Guesthouse & Restaurant, opened in April in 2009, is located on the scenic Mekong riverfront, only 350m from the bus stop area. A variety of double rooms are available from $4. The outdoor restaurant overlloking the river has a full bar and an offers both Asian and Western food. Other tourist facilities offered include bus bookings, motorbike and bicycle rental, tuktuk tours, laundry and WiFi-enabled Internet.
