Chomkar Nonaung Restaurant

This restaurant serves Khmer food, cooked fresh and served picnic style, in cabanas surrounded by palm trees, very green and lovely surroundings.  Customers sit on the floor or in a hammock and are welcome to stay and snooze and/or play cards for the afternoon.  The food is authentic and menu prices vary from $2 up.  The menu is in Khmer but  the owner speaks English and is happy to assist in your choice of food.  The restaurant is across (east) the Japanese bridge, about ten kilometers on Highway 6A; take a hard right immediately past the Prek Leap pagoda, go about one-half block from the highway and you are there.  A real Cambodian experience.
