RockHouse Guesthouse down Yaddehimulla Road in Unawatuna is one of the oldest being in business since 1979, over the years it has changed with the travelers needs and now boast some fine rooms at very reasonable rates.
They have large airy rooms upstairs with balconies and usual amenities.
Also standard rooms which are cheaper, whilst some of the old budget rooms are also retained with a bit of upgrading.

Being on a higher elevation, fresh air breeze into your rooms keeping them cool.

Anil and Marcus Dias who owns two Guesthouses on the premises sheltered all the Tourists and locals who were affected by Boxing day Tsunami for  days.
