Sargodha itself hosts a very big festival called Mela Maveshian O Aspan or Mela Mandi. Related Territories specially a village Saliqa is very famous for its match competitions. Volly Ball and Kabaddi are the mostly like games of the population. Saliqa has given the District top players of Volly Ball and Kabaddi. Malik Muhammad Ahmad Hayyat Lumbardar is the best player of Kabaddi and Volly Ball as well. He made the District proud at National level games.
