People

The people of Peshawar are mostly pathans but Hindku speaking are also living together. It's a culturally diverse city with Punjabis, Balochs, Pathans and to some extent the Afghan Refugees who have over the long years of war in their own country have found shelter in in this part of the world. The cultural similarities of Afghans with the people of Peshawar has made it an ideal destination for a common afghan refugee. In addition, they have also found opportunities in many fields. They have, forexample, extended businesses and are well established.

Peshawar is an old city and has been the crossroads to central asia. For thousands of years it has served as a safe passage for invaders from central asia.
