Azakhel Bala is a famous village of Distt, Nowshera situated on GT road Peshawar. Azakhel Bala has one union council and Sajid Iqbal Advocate Daudzia is Nazim of Union council and Haji Aziz u rehman is Niab Nazim. Azakhel bala has high scool for boys and girls and one middle school for boys and girls. There are 03 primery school for boys and 02 for girls. There is a Dar U Uloom azakhel bala, Main Nisar ullah bacha is Muhtamem of this dar u uloom. There are 500 hafiz-e-Quran in azakhel bala. Habib bank and Post office is situated near primery school no 2 and in middle of village. Azakhel has 02 ex major general in pakistan army. Azakhel is also famouse for volly ball and produce many player for pakistan. Tariq khan, Muneeb khan and Farooq khan joined pakistan volly ball team and Hanif Muhammad, Ishfaq and Dr Abdul wajid khan played National champion ship.
