OKRA
Edit ThisSmall but very popular restaurant in Defence Phase V area of the city. Excellent food, but must book in advance as space is limited and demand is usually high, specially on weekends.

Bar-B-Q Tonite
Edit ThisWithout a doubt, Karachi's most popular restaurant. My own estimate is that it serves at least 2,500 - 3000 people every night !! The restaurant is built over 3 storeys, with the rooftop being the ideal spot to enjoy your tikkas, kebabs, ribs and naans hot off the oven. Food quality has remained consistently excellent for over 15 years and prices have always been very reasonable. Word has spread far and wide and Karachiites descend enmasse to devour their delicacies every single night of the week. TIP : go early, preferably before 8 p.m. to more..

Lal Qila
Edit ThisThe name Lal Qila rekindles the chapter of a legancy full of fasinating interest. Lal Qila is where magnificence balnds with perfection and where the mystique of the past meets the magic of the present. A contemporary Restaurant, Lal Qila stands tall to reflect its own unique aura, while depicting the incessant determination of the Haji Omerson Family. Lal Qila combines the legendary splendor of the Mughals Era with the culinary articulateness of medern times. Decorated with real replicas of the Mughal Era
Yu can become their SHAHI Member by getting Lal Qila more..

My personal favourite restaurant in karachi for the past 12 years ! Great service, superb food, sophisticated ambience. Per person will cost about Rupees 800 (US$13).

cafe allianto
Edit ThisBan Thai provides delicious Thai food in karachi. Situated at Zamzama Blvd. in defence. It is easily accessible. Though it is bit pricy but it's totally worth it. One visiting karachi should check this joint out. It is advisable to make reservations. Your hotel concierge would gladly make the reservations for you.

This restuarant provides good food at reasonable price, but the ultra prices spices some time do effect savory of the food. The restaurant is opens until the wee hours. Their salad and raita is also very good.

Lasania
Edit ThisA local restaurant with a vast menu. Everything on the menu sounds familiar but tastes vaguely like the named version. The localization of international cuisine is in full swing here. The restaurant isn't too big on presentation and lacks finesse. Still worth the visit if you're in the neighborhood but it has to be noted there are several much better alternatives available in the city.
