Getting There in Pakistan
Edit ThisPakistan has many attractions for those willing to make the trek over there. The country offers a different feel for those seeking spiritual tourism, adventure tourism or eco tourism. Pakistan is 98% Muslim and religion is woven into the very fabric of the locals' lives. The landscape is very diverse, offering mountain climbing, hiking, wild boar hunting, white river rafting and even bird watching tours for those who want a more low key visit. When planning a trip to Pakistan, getting there is fairly easy from the world's big cities.
Airlines Serving Pakistan
There are a number of airlines serving Pakistan. Namely, Pakistan International Airlines, the flag carrying national carrier, Quatar, Emirates and Ethiad. These airlines leave from the U.S from John F. Kennedy International Airport, Washington and Los Angeles airport. In addition to these commercial carriers, there are charter flights that serve the country. Regency Air, Schon Air and Royal Airlines are a few charter airlines. Typically, charter flights to Pakistan are cheaper than the commercial flights, but the bigger carriers do have better customer service relations and better baggage recovery in the event of delayed luggage.
Pakistan Packages
It is normally a good idea to book travel packages that include hotel and airfare. The better package will include a variety of tours which suit every traveler's desires. Karachi is a popular destination in Pakistan, and the majority of tours do operate from this city. Mountain and hiking tours are also very popular and include an expert guide to take hikers and climbers along the trail.
