Getting There in Chitral
Edit ThisTwo flights of Pakistan International Airlines operate every day to Chitral from Peshawar. This forty-five minute flight is through spectacular mountain scenery. The flights are more regular than the flights into Gilgit and Skardu. This regularity will receive a further boost when the Fokker Friendship aircrafts of PIA will be replaced by brand new ATR turbo prop aircrafts in April 2006.
The road journey to Chitral from Peshawar is equally spectacular. It is over the 10500 ft Lowari Pass and takes 11 hrs from Peshawar.
