In cities like Karachi you can pass the time on some splendid public beaches and, of course, this is about the most "budget" thing you can do because it's totally free. So you can kick back with a nice picnic, go swimming and get a nice sun tan without shelling out a penny. Many travelers' favorite budget beach is Hawke's Bay Beach, not far from Karachi.
