Thorar is a beautifull town of Jammu Kashmir. It is about 30 Kilometers from Rawalakot, 100 Kilometers from Muzaffarabad, 250 Kilometers from Srinagar and about 100 Kilometers from Isalamabad Pakistan. The litracy rate of Thorar is 80%. Majority of the people in Thorar belong to Sudhan (Suduzai) tribe. People are very generous and helpful. There is One Govt. Boys Degree College, on Girls College and some private colleges and schools for boys and girls.
