Rajoa is a small village in Tehsil Dadyal of the Mirpur district of Azad Kashmir Like much of Mirpur , Rajoa has deep connections with the UK. Many people originally from Rajoa have settled in Birmingham and its surrounding areas. The link with the UK like the rest of Mirpur is immediately obvious on entering Rajoa, where one is greeted by palatial, hacienda-style residences, eerily empty, which have been built with finance from remitted pounds. In this regard, Rajoa is no different from the rest of Mirpur , where links with the UK have precipitated various property booms since the 1960s.

Village Rajoa is mainly habited by the Rajput clan . Rajoa has many beautifull houses. Many houses are also left empty or looked after by Pathans who have come from Afghanistan . People in Rajoa are of the same family. Rajoa people settled in the UK have kept close ties with the family members in Rajoa by marraige of their children. The poor are often sent many from the UK to help them with the Necessities of life.
