Hanumangarh is basically a small district and district head quarter in rajasthan surrounded by Sriganganagar, Churu, Jhunjhunun, Punjab and Haryana. It is approx. 350 kms far from New Delhi & 400 kms far from Jaipur.

Main Earning source of the people of Hanumangarh and areas neraby is agriculture. The city is small and peaceful, a good place to live. But this city is not so advanced because there are no Jila Parishad, Population Of Hanumangarh is over 125000. Locality is also good, people are social and helpful. You can find here mixing of typical Rajasthani culture (Rural) and Urban (western).

Th famous fair of Hanumangarh District is GOGAMEDI & this fair is the biggest fair of northern India. This fair is held on Bhadrapad's month. Duration Of this fair is complete one month But the main date of this fair is Dooj & Naumi after Amavasya.  

The seond most famous fair is BHADRAKALI and Hanumangarh is the only place for this fair in Rajasthan.   

Places to see:

Kalibanga & Bhatner Durg is a place nearby Hanumangarh which has historical importance. Here (Kalibanga) found some signs of Harappa & Mohanjodaro culture in the past.
