Alwar Travel Guide

Alwar, 170 Kms south of Delhi, is the oldest city in Rajasthan and is a popular city with archaeologists because of its historically interesting sights. You will also find many monuments around Alwar that are named after Pandavas. The city has a beautiful lake and a picturesque valley.

The Sariska Sanctuary is only some kilometres away from Alwar and is declared a tiger reserve. It is located in the Aravali Hills and beside the fact that you might spot a tiger here, there are other impressive rare birds and plants to be seen.
