Nagpur, The winter capital of Maharashtra state, is located in the center of India. The city has Zero Mile , a mile stone with number 0, indicating that it is the center of once undivided India under the British Raj.  The city is famous for its Oranges and hence is also known as the Orange city. 

The City was the seat of Bhonsle Empire. The fort of Sitabuldi stands as a proof of the prosperous times.  The  City  was capital of Central Provinces , before the reorganization of states.
