Vaijapur is located about 75 kms from Aurangabad on the Aurangabad -Nasik route. It doesnt hane any places of intrest but it is pretty near to Shirdi ( The Sai Baba Temple) ...about 43 kms. if you wanna stay at vaijapur the govt. guest house is the best place followed by Hotel Surya and Hotel Sindh. Other than this its like any semi-rural semi-urban town of India.
I think it has a very typical weather touch - dry towards Aurangabad and mild humid towards Shirdi. This makes it perfectly pleasent to travel from Aurangabad to Shirdi or vice versa. Do enjoy the route and do not miss those nice landscapes !
