Visitors can experience light showers during the season and should carry light woolen clothes as well. People mainly visit here in this season due to the major festival, Deepavali, which is also celebrated in October. The festival is a 5-day festival of lights. During Deepavali small clay pots of oil are lit by celebrants to show the triumph of good over evil within each of them. When all of the lamps are lit by the faithful, Panchgani Hill Station is aglow.
