Sights in Payyanur

If you are reaching Payyanur via rail, from railway station, you can reach to Payyanur Town by bus (charge about Rs 3.00) or auto rikshwas (charge about Rs 20.00). You have lot of restaurants and lodges in the town.

Most of the shops closes in Payyanur.  The Bus Stand is about 2 Kilometers from the Railway Station. Payyanur has a prominent place in the history of Indian Freedom Movement. Payyanur is very famous for the folklore arts like 'Theyyam'.
