Entry Requirements

All visitors to any part of India are required to have a valid passport and a visa. Visitors from all countries must apply for a visa from the nearest Indian Embassy. Visas are not given visas on arrival, so it is important that you apply for a visa prior to traveling to Hampi. Weather

If you are traveling to Hampi, you will need to make sure that the weather does not play spoilsport to your vacation. It is not advisable to travel to Hampi during the summer months of April and May as the temperature can get really high to around 43 degrees Celsius or 109.4 degrees Fahrenheit.

The monkeys here are notorious for snatching away handbags. If you are visiting during summer, you will need to carry some bottled water and make sure you drink enough water so that you do not get dehydrated.
