It's a state tourism department owned hotel. Situated near the Musuem and very closeby Archeological Survey of India Office. It has a restaruant on the premesis, and can also arrange for guides.

Can hire bikes here (Rs 100, 2.3USD per day). Has a good restaurant. This is the only place where beer is available. Food costs Rs.150 - Rs.200 (4-6$) per head. You get 24 hours hot water.

I happened to just go to this place by chance. I first visited other places like Mowgli, Sunny, Shanti etc which have most reviews on the net. Hema seems to be better than most of these places in all aspects. Other than the restaurant probably. The most clean and tidy place in Hampi.Hampi is a place where you find only basic accommodation. By basic I mean a room with bed, mosquito net, fan and a bathroom. I found most places to have just cement flooring which are not so well kept. Beds are not dusted and cleaned. But Hema was clean in all aspects. The best part is more..

This is clean and neat hotel, well maintained rooms with geyser, hot water available throughout the day.  The hotel has a bar and restaurant and fast food centre too. Further there is konica photo studio for fast processing within an hour.  The hotel has car parking and 24 hours check out facility.
