Shankaracharya Temple

The Shankaracharya Temple is a historic and sacred tourist destination situated in Takht-e-Suleiman, Srinagar. It is the oldest shrine in Kashmir but has undergone several renovations. This temple is situated 1100 feet above sea level. It is a whole 7km hike to the temple, but once you reach the top you will be amazed by the magnificent view of the surrounding place.

Amarnath Yatra (Holy Cave)

This is a well-known sacred spot for the Hindus. The Amarnath Yatra (Holy Cave) is located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. This place serves as a pilgrimage destination for Hindus. However, even if you are not a Hindu, you will be amazed by the great cave and mystical stalagmite formations. To reach the Amarnath Yatra Camp you can either hike the 42 km trail or ride the horses.
