Sights in Bhaderwah

Edit This

As has been mentioned in the  tourist information material that Bhaderwah is known as place of Naags(Snakes) , I have a very interesting experience to share as under:

Last week , 12 - 13th Nov.2008 I went to Bhaderewah for some official commitments related to my job. Suddenly I fell sick and had to be in bed for almost 1 and half day. When  I was in deep sleep I dreamed a very interesting scene. I saw a big Naag( Snake) coming towards me . This big snake was of mud colour. Suddenly this Snake stood up like a human being  and asked me " you have come to Bhaderwah for fourth time, yet you did not bother to come to my temple".  Abruptly my sleep got disturbed , waking me up.  It is fact that this was my fourth  visit to Bhaderwah so far but I never heard of Naag temple  at Bhaderwah.

After some time a local contact came to me quite prior to the time fixed for the meeting. As soon as he entered my room first of alll I asked him whether there is a Naag temple in Bhaderwah. After his afirmative response I asked him whether I can go  to that temple in my Car as I was unable to walk down due to weakness out of two days illness. Gentleman   told me that we can go to the temple on foot as the place of our stay is just near to the temple.

Immediately I got up ,took bath and went to temple. It is really a strange experience for me that similar type of Naag which  I saw in dream was  there in the shape of a Murti (Statue). Only colour of the Murti was different. Here it is Black and which came to my dream was of mud cololur.

Bhaderwah is really a place to worship.
