Sights in Bhadarwah
Edit ThisBhadarwah has very old and historic religious places that are worth to see such as:
1. Temples of Gupt Ganga, Vasuki Nag, Atalgarh, Bhadrakali, Chinot, Laxminarayan and Durga Devi.
2. Bhadarwah Fort, Walk through Parla Bazar, Govt.Degree College and onwards to Ghatha and Fish Pond.
3. The Grassy Meadows of Jai and Chinta.
4. Ashapati Glacier.
5. The Villeges of Sertingal, Nalthi and Paneja.
6. Trek to Mount Kailash during August ( 16500 FT.)
The trek is easy and requires no training for trekking. Horses and
Porters are available.
7. Natural Springs and rivers of Bhadarwah.
8. Step Farming: Still Old method of farming is used e.g.
ploughing by bulls, carrying paddy plants on big baskets tied at the
back of the farmers, etc.
9. Till today in some places the running water of rivers is used to transport wooden logs from one place to another.
10. Till Today in some places one can see the Food
grain grinders operating from fast flow of river water without using
any electricity.
11. The Flore and fauna of Bhadarwah.
12. The Cultural dances of Bhadarwah by
locals. Bagpiper music and band during weddings and other ceremonies and
festivals.
