Senior Travel in Mcleodganj

Chonor House is easily the most sought after hotel in Mcleodganj. An all-inclusive hotel, Chonor House offers guests beautifully decorated rooms in traditional Tibetan style, a restaurant featuring local cuisine, international favorites and delicious continental breakfasts, breathtaking views of the mountain range, 24-hour room service and a doctor who is on call in case of emergencies.
Another hotel accommodating the needs of the mature traveler is the Hotel Him Queen. Centrally located, it is a short walk from one of the many bus stations as well as the Dalai Lama temple. Offering a variety of rooms ranging from standard to super deluxe, it accommodates all budgets, as well. Housing a restaurant, it also makes dining on local cuisine easy as you don't have to travel to get a great meal.
Transportation
After landing in the city by bus or taxi, traveling in and around Mcleodganj is a breeze. If you can walk around to all of the scenic viewpoints, that is the cheapest way to go, but if it is easier to travel by some type of vehicle, there are taxis and buses running all over this tourist town that can shuttle you between locations.
