Things to do

The region of Lahaul is very well known for its Buddhist monastries, called Gompas. These monastries are repositories of ancient scripts and culture. These are Kardang (8km), Tyaul (6km), Guru Ghantal (4km), and Shasur (3km). It is however a very nice experience to walk to all of these monastries through the villages.
