Practical Information

Keylong is a very beautiful town, inhabited by friendly, simple, helping, hospitable and honest people (really!!). You can catch a good meal at any of the eateries, called dhabas, throught the town. One that the author recommends is Fauji da dhaba (Soldier's eatery). It is called so because it's owned by an ex-soldier. Located in a narrow street, it overlooks the village and beautiful fields. It serves delicious parathas and veggies for very reasonable price.
