Ranchi Travel Guide

Ranchi is capital of a state called Jharkhand. The state primarily occupies the better portion of the Chotanagpur plateaus and was the erstwhile southern part of its parent state - Bihar.

Ranchi has one of the best climatic conditions in India. It is famous for the various waterfalls that dot its periphery as well as for the hillocks. It is said that the Famous poet and Nobel laurate Rabindranath Tagore lived here for a long period and composed some of his most famous works while staying in a small hut built amidst this serene landscape.
