Pattisima

It is famous for the temple of Sri Veerabhadra (Shiva), which is picturasquely located on a hill known as Devakuta Parvatha in the middle of the Godavari river like an Island. Considered to be one of the Panchkasi Kshetrams of the Shivaites, the temple has a beautiful Nandi Vigarha.Carved images of dancing people adorn the walls while an awe-inspiring life-size sculpture of Devi Bhadrakali with lot of ornaments & a sword, catches the eye. A temple dedicated to Sri Bhavanarayana Swamy can also be visited.

Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation is maintaining the daily buses from Hyderabad to Pattiseema and boat trips in the Godavari from Pattiseema to Papikondalu.  You can see the beauty of the river while travelling by boat cruise.

Located 120 Kms from Eluru , 40 Kms from Rajahmudry, 55 Kms from Bhimavaram & 25 Kms from Kovvur.

Akividu

The place is very close to Kolleru Lake and Bay of Bengal. It is very small town in West Godavari but very rich in fish forms and rice mills. Numbers of villagers are dependent on this town.
