ISKCON Utsav

Grand Cultural Fest called "ISKCON UTSAV" at Hare Krishna Land,Sagaranagar from Sept 30th to Oct 2nd 2006 during Dassera Holidays. to promote Indian culture and create awareness about the activities of ISKCON(International Society for Krishna Consciousness).

The stalls would display indigenous products, spiritual articles and also commercial items by the participating companies. The utsav will include 50 booth Bazzar displaying various products, food stall from all over India, merry-go-round-Giant wheel, children games etc. There would be Gita Parayanam and Bhajans on all the three days.

Telugu Bhajan singers, International standard dance drama on Ram leela,Krishna leela,Folk dance etc would sing sing devotional and classical numbers.There will be homam, Gita Path and discources everyday.

On the Dasara Day there would be a 50-foot effigy of the demon-king Ravana, which would be burnt by an artiste, dressed up as Lord Rama, by shooting a flaming arrow at it. The programme would be followed by the enactment of Ram-Leela.
