here for those willing to spend a few extra bucks is by air to Begumpet Airport ,
the city’s major airport, or nearby airports in Guntur,
Tirupati. Jet Airways, Sarahra Airways and Kingfisher Airlines are some of the
major reliable companies flying into this gorgeous India city.
If you’d prefer to see some of the gorgeous countryside, you
can take the rail to Andhra Pradesh. The railway system is expansive and well maintained,
not to mention cheap and enjoyable. Additionally, when you travel by train or
bus you can listen to the stories of your fellow travelers. You can catch the
train into Andhra Pradesh from Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and other major states.
traveling by car is another way to see the beautiful India countryside. There are
numerous roads connecting Andhra Pradesh to neighboring states such as
Karnataka, Orissa and others. Car rentals are fairly cheap and major
corporations such as Hertz operate out of India.
You can also take a cheap bus or luxury coach
from most all states to Andhra Pradesh. The APSRTC – also known as the Andhra
Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation – is a popular India bus
company, as their coaches run all over the country. In addition to standard
buses, you can take an APSRTC coach for a few extra bucks.
Once inside the city, your best bet is to go on foot or get a special-hire taxi.
