Andaman and Nicobar Islands must do’s include a lot of important visits to this charming place. It is the union territory of India in the Bay of Bengal and it is the most unspoiled of places on this earth. It is covered or scattered by dense forests. All types of budgets can be accommodated but on the far islands, the tourist should not expect 5-star comforts. Andaman and Nicobar islands in India are for those people who love the beauty of the nature and do not need the luxuries and 5-star hospitality. Seafood is available at reasonable cost. Booking should be done in advance because during peak seasons the rooms are very hard to find. Tourists should obtain permission from forest department to visit islands. The islands are uninhabited, so carrying lunch and water is suggested. Islands move in groups and tourist’s group may be one group so tourist should listen carefully to their operators because they need to know when there is low or high tide. Without knowing how to swim, don’t go far into the sea.

Ross  and Viper Islands  

Ross Island is a small world with 200 acres land and a chief commissioner's residence. Now it has become a fully deserted land.  Viper Island is on 69 acres. It is known as Viper Island because there were lots of vipers present in the past. 
 
Climbing Mount Harriet  

Mount Harriet is another must do. It is present on the other side of Ross Island. It provides an excellent view of Port Blair.  

Fisheries and Anthropological Museum  

These museums provide a clear image of happenings of the past which are related to the islands. The Fisheries Museum is the favorite destination for all tourists. And the Anthropological Museum is the major attraction for the tourists  

Scuba Diving

The beach is on the Havelock island, which has government as well as private guest houses. Trips to havelock are arranged as 1.5 day excursions from port blair. The boat trip takes around 1/ 1.5 hours.
