The Zone, Thimphu

The Zone is a great bar and restaurant right in the heart of town. With great music and a great ambience, its an ideal place to hang out after dinner. Infact, you can even have your dinner there. The most popular item for expatriates being the Yak Burger, a must have for new comers.

If your taste is more Bhutanese/chinese, they also have rice, ribs and ema datsi. I loved the roast chicken with rice and the steak with fries and vegetables.

The owner, who was educated in the US prides himself on maintaining very high standards, whether its service, food quality or hygiene.
