 A three and a half hour drive from the town of Paro is the Punakha Dzong which sits at the confluence of two rivers, one considered male, the other female. The Dzong itself is massive and beautiful and worth the drive over. It burned about 10-12 years ago and was just redecorated about a year and a half ago.
