Eight Elephants Hostel

Eight Elephants is a small, home-stay style youth hostel in Taipei, near ShiDa Night Market and University. Really cool, clean, cozy place. Not the cheapest hostel in Taipei, but very much worth it for quality and value.
It's centrally located, in a hip student district with many bars, night clubs, shops, parks and the ShiDa night market all within 10 minutes walking distance. Only 3 minutes from GuTing Metro Station that brings you anywhere in Taipei.
Room Rates: Dorm Beds are 490 TWD ($15 USD), Single Rooms are 1030 TWD ($31 USD), Double Bed Room or 2-bed Twin Room are both 1560 TWD ($47 USD).
