Maybe you expect only fashionable and expensive hotels in Seoul. Well, don't worry, they're there. However, some locals rent out rooms for a reasonable price and although they might not be that centrally located, the public transport system will take you wherever you want to go. Seoul has also some good youth hostels and mid range hotels to offer. Check out the different accommodation sections.
Shangri-La Hotel is a culturally focused hotel which is located in Changchu. SwissBelhotel great fitness center and pool is an outstanding location. If traveling on a budget a great hotel to stay will be the Paradise Hotel, also located near they have the SwissBelhotel which is affordable even for those with limited income. The Paradise hotel is 6 miles from the international airport. The SwissBelhotel is surrounded by many restaurants and shopping facilities.
If you are looking for a fine hotel, The COEX InterContinental Seoul is a beautiful hotel located right at the heart of all the action in downtown Seoul . The COEX InterContinental Seoul is a luxury hotel right next to the Korea World Trade Center complex. This location is perfect for business guests. The Grand Hilton Seoul, also a fine luxury hotel, features a brand new, state-of-the-art 2,500-capacity Convention Center, conveniently located in the northwest part of the capital and is only minutes from downtown Seoul . The Central Hotel is an affordable hotel that is conveniently located within 30 minutes of Kimpo International Airport . The Rainbow hotel is also affordable and has been recognized in local Korean newspapers for their great service and is conveniently located right in the central part of Seoul 's shopping and business district.

Hong guesthouse is located in centre of Seoul.
I was able to get there with direct bus from Incheon airport.
And 5 min walk from the bus stop.
I stayed at twinroom w/ my friend.
The manager speaks English fluently so he was able to help us with directions and good place to eat and stuff.
The subway station was about 6~7 min walk, but everything i needed was all nearby.

Kim's is centrally located near the famous univeristy zone including Hongik, Yonsei, Ihwa, University, it is also close to Worldcup stadium where a variety of shopping, health, cultural facilities are placed in and around it. And Hongik University area are full of its colouful festivals and cultural events, known for its friendly, easy-going, small town atmosphere,and buzzes with student life.
Some ten minutes by foot from Hapjeong subway station Kim’s Guesthouse continues to expand its reputation as a fine place to stay for those visiting the city on a budget. A more..

When i was in Seoul, last winter, I stayed in Novotel Gangnam.
The hotel located in the centre of Seoul city, so it made me easy to access the venues which i wanted to visit!
Also the price was good & service was perfect!
I wanna recommend this hotel so badly!
