UN Memorial Cemetery
Edit This
This Cemetery is the resting place for over 2000 soldiers who perished in the Korean War from 1950-53. Pusan was the major city of South Korea not invaded by the night. It honours the 16 countries who were part of the UN Force defending South Korea.
Each country who participated have their own section. Ensure you visit the Turkish and Canadian memorials.
There is also a Memorabilia Hall. To any who are unaware of the war there is a small video presentation documenting the wars events. A Wall of Honour lists the name of every soldier who fell in the war.
Browse the headstones for each soldier looking names or people of interest. Note that some were married, and their now deceased wives have their ashes spread around with a plaque.
