Gwangalli Beach

Major hang-out for young people in Korea.

It comes alive of a nighttime. The Bridge is lit up and dominates the scenery from the beach. In addition the beach has vendors selling fireworks for individual use, approximately 5000 won for 3.

At the northern end is a small amusement park open till approx midnight.

The esplanade has a variety of cafes, bars and entertainment. Reccomended is the Hollywood Star where western snacks and music is readily available.

do of an evening till the early hours.

Haeundae Beach

One of the most popular beaches in Korea.

Also a great place to visit first to assist with facilitating your trip around Pusan and surrounds. The Tourist Information Centre here is staffed by people with perfect English. In addition they can supply instructions for each tourist site in Korean and a choice of languages. Very valuable in assisting successfully completing excursions.

While at the beach there is an aquarium and a number of restruants providing food styles around the world.

This location is well serviced by buses and the subway.
