Getting Around in Kokura

Kokura is definately a town you can walk. There's such a buzz in the air, you don't really need a plan, you can walk around for a whole day with just a few coffee stops. Just watch out for the indoor / outdoor arcades that are likely to leave you completely disoriented. My tip is to bring a compass and don't rely on a 'pachinko parlour' as a landmark!  Hopefully you will get back to where you started.
