Hanatokei Coffee and Tea 「 花時計珈琲館 」
“Hanatokei Coffee and Tea” is one of the only two coffee shops that use Hills Coffee in Oita. Hills Coffee Japan is one of the group networks of UCC Coffee. Mrs. Matsumoto, the present owner has been training herself not only with studying coffee beans from various regions, methods of dripping, and roasting but also focused learning to bake cakes and breads as well as cook many kinds of foods. She also uses " Koshihikari" , one of the best rice in Hiroshima. She said she wants to provide the food that will make one feel that he/she is eating at home. So there are a lot of menu from Japanese style dishes to Western style dishes. Depending on the visiting hours the set menus differ in price and the content as well. Many set menus come with great blended coffee and the price does not go above 1000yen.

It is located near Book Off, 5 minutes away from the bus station “Daisansou-Iriguchi” – the closest bus stop from the ferry terminal for Oita Kotsu bus which goes from Beppu Station to Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University(APU), and 10 minutes away from the ferry terminal.
Operating Hour: Everyday from 8:00am to 8:00pm
- Recommended Menu
1. UCC Brand Coffee including other beverages, such as mix juice, milk shake and healthy tea. The most odered beverage is "Blend Coffee" which is cost 400 Yen. (the beverages' price here start from 300 to 1000 yen)
2. Morning Set which consists of Coffee, Toast and Salad. It will be provided from 8 am to 11 am only. (Price : 550 Yen)
3. Lunch Set The main course in Lunch set will change everyday and it will be provided from 11am to 2pm only, Except on Sunday. (Price : 730 Yen)
4. Besides Morning and Lunch Set, here are also provided other available menus, including both japanese and western style menus.
