Tohoku Times The Tohoku Times is a web site that provides English information on Sendai and the Tohoku region. It provides news from local newspapers and TV stations, updated every week, in addition to information on restaurants, places to go, movies, shopping transportation and information useful in everyday life. Most of the information is related to Sendai and Miyagi Prefecture, but there is also news and information on other the prefectures in Tohoku - Aomori, Akita, Iwate, Yamagata and Fukushima.
